Wood planks for the Nkanchi Village church
Dear Friends,
On Monday, October 23, 2023, after the lockdown, the architect, Mr. Ambe Collins, was able to go to Nkambe to buy trees to saw planks in preparations for the roofing of the Church. The roads were still bad due to the heavy downpour of rain. However, Mr. Ambe was able to brave it. He got the workers to begin the work and on November 10, 2023, they began sawing the planks.

I am glad to announce that much work has been done regarding the sawing of the planks. I began by giving the workers $400.00 to buy the necessary equipment and fuel for the sawing machines. They need $4,000 to continue the work, and they have assured us that they will finish with the planks in two weeks.

In the meantime, I thank all those who are donating to KumboKids and Community. I am so excited to see the roof on that Church so that the plastering in and out will begin. May God continue to bless and reward you all.
