Ensuring access to education for our kids

One of the goals of KumboKids and Community is to help care for students whose families can’t afford school fees. This care varies from student to student. Some students are helped with study materials like books, pens, pencils, rulers, notebooks, uniforms, and a bit of money ($10 to $40) to buy textbooks of pay for handouts. While others are given partial tuition and fees and still others are paid full tuition and fees. Therefore, all is done according to the needs of the individual student.

Praise be the name of the Lord; may He continue to bless you, my dear donors, with an abundance of his grace so that the sources of your generosity may always be replenished a hundredfold. Through your generous actions, I can pay yearly tuition fees for a good number of students.

– Fr. Emmanuel Fale

Here are some kids from kindergarten through primary, secondary, high school to university levels your donations make it possible for me to help:

Kindergarten and Primary schools

From Catholic School Nkanchi (Fr. Emmanuel’s village): The diocese of Kumbo has the lowest school fees comparatively. In the kindergarten and primary schools, the fees, including books, uniforms, and tuition, stand at $200 per child for a year.

The fees and tuition of the above kids are paid in full, that is, $200 per year (total = $1,600.00 per year). They extend their sincere thanks to all those who help me to help them.

From a School in Yaounde (Capital of Cameroon): The group of students pictured below are supported according to their needs. Their fees and tuition are paid not in full, but according to the needs of each one of them. For the academic year 2021/2022,  we spent $2,100. 00 on all of them.

Message from Father Emmanuel:

Dear friends, these are a few outreached stories that you have enabled me to carry out.  I could not get all of them to write their stories, but these few samples are to let you know that your  donations are giving a future to numerous children out here.

With Saint Paul, I say, “Now he who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!”

With your support, I can spend between $10,000 to $12,000 per year to help needy children as described above. Thank you, once more, for your generosity.

Gratefully yours,

– Fr. Emmanuel Fale
