A Big Thank You!

Dear friends,

I have been in the United States for a visit and I'm about to go back home to Cameroon. I am overwhelmed with the outpouring of hospitality, love, and generosity from all of you. Your faith is put into practice as an amazing witness to Christ and his Church.

Therefore, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been helping me push forward the mission of KumboKids and Community. I thank of all my supporters from Maryland, the Cameroonian communities in Burtonsville, MD, Virginia, and Baltimore, the Laue family, Jack Reybold and Mary Ann Sorra, the family of Dr. Joseph Toyang, the Dashbach family, the Tilford’s family, Margaret Klenheinz (Fran), Maria Laue, and all the individual supporters in Maryland who came out to greet me and who invited me into their homes. I'm also thinking of the supporters from Ohio, and I want to thank them in a very special way, especially Fr. Tony Fortman, Fr. Seraphine, Fr. Angelo Anthony, Fr. Vincent, and the Saint Gaspar family of Parishes, especially Emmanuel Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council 500.

Thank you CWA in Vienna, VA

Thank you to Frs. Martin Fox, James Manning, and Saint Mary's of the Assumption Parish, and the Knights of Columbus Council 14400. I also want to thank again the group that came together at Charlie and Susie Gross’ house to welcome me and listen to the presentation and the people who came to Dave and Ann Norckauer’s house to welcome and listen to me as well. I am grateful to the parishioners of the parishes who stayed behind after the Masses to greet me and listen to the presentations that I gave. Special thanks also to Alison Besakah and her family who will be spreading the message in Tennessee.

Thank you Besakah family in Tennessee

I want to thank also in a special way Joanne Allswede and Dr. Matthew Sprout, who also came to see me, and all the families that invited me at their homes. I'm thinking of Bill and Susan Franklin, Melissa Koch and all the families and the kids who always welcomed me each time I come around. Special thanks also to Edward Gray, Mary Donovan and Stephanie Whiting and all of you, I cannot mention everyone by name. I just want to say I'm so happy and grateful that KumboKids and Community is going forward with the new church in Nkanchi and that we are able help kids have equal access to education.

So thank you for your support!

The children at Saint Aloysius Minor Seminary, the primary school in Nkanchi and I will be praying for you always. Again thank you and may God bless you all.

- Fr. Emmanuel Fale Lon
